To get you in the spirit, here are our top five Christmas cocktail recipes. Let’s dive into the mix and make your celebrations merry and bright!
1. Spiced Winter Mojito
Ingredients: Rum, lime, winter spices, sugar, mint, ginger beer.
- In a glass, add 25ml of lime juice, 20ml of winter spice syrup, 5 leaves of mint and 50ml of golden rum.
- Next add crushed ice to the top and mix the contents with a bar spoon.
- Top up with ice and 50ml of ginger beer.
- Garnish with mint and cranberries.
2. New York Sour
Ingredients: Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, sugar syrup, egg white, red wine.
- Add 15ml of an egg white, 50ml of bourbon, 25ml of lemon juice and 20ml of sugar syrup to your shaker.
- Dry shake for 25 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
- Add ice and shake again for 15 seconds.
- Double strain into a glass with fresh ice
- Add 10-15ml of red wine on top of your cocktail
3. Gingerbread Espresso Martini
Ingredients: Vodka, Kahlua, espresso & gingerbread syrup.
- In a shaker add 40ml of vodka, 30ml of Kahlua, 15ml of gingerbread syrup, a pinch of salt and 30ml of coffee.
- Add ice and shake vigorously for 25 seconds.
- Double strain into a martini glass.
- Add three espresso beans for the garnish.
4. Spicy Mistletoe Margarita
Ingredients: Tequila, agave syrup, lime juice, rosemary, ginger and chilli, salt rim.
- Muddle 1 inch of ginger, 2 slices of fresh chilli, fresh rosemary and 20ml of agave syrup together.
- Next, add 50ml of tequila and 25ml of lime juice into a shaker.
- Add ice and shake for 15 seconds
- Strain into your pre-prepared martini glass with a salted rim.
5. Santa’s Choca Mocha
Ingredients: Vodka, baileys, Kahlua, chocolate syurp, whipped cream & chocolate.
- Add chocolate sauce lines to the inside of your glass.
- In a shaker, add 25ml Baileys, 25ml coffee liqueur, 30ml vodka and 5 large ice cubes.
- Shake for 10 seconds and pour over ice.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings to garnish
